Weather: Cloudy skies with 20+ kmph SW winds gusting over 30 kmph. Steady temperature ranging from 5.4 down to 5.1 degrees. Raptor Observations: 3 Species of raptor today including 1 adult Golden Eagle that appeared over the tree line north of the trout pond at 10:40 a.m. 2 adult and 1 juvinile local Bald Eagles were flying low over the marsh. Not many birds flying today into the SW winds. Non-raptor Observations: Great Blue Heron, Mute Swan, Canada Goose, DC Cormorant, American Coot, Pied-billed Grebe, GW Teal, BW Teal, Mallard, American Black Duck, Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Gadwall, American Wigeon, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy Duck and Hooded Merganser were observed in the marsh.
