Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 13:00:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter: Rob Payne

Observers: John Elliott, Rodney Laura

Visitors:
A couple of quick onlookers, no crowds so to speak of.

Weather:
Very hot and windy, at least the haze was near absent. Temperatures where
in the 90's and the average wind speed was about 10mph. The winds where
coming from the west, which kept most birds back in Canada. Gusts came in
at a top speed of 52mph.

Raptor Observations:
Migration was slow but better than yesterday, by one. However we did have
three falcon species for the day with American Kestrel, Merlin, and
Perigrine Falcon. A grand total of 14 birds of 6 species.

Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
This weekend should be a lot better now that the on-coming low pressure
system should be settled in. A slight shower might be in order, and a good
cloud cover will make finding migrants easier.
