Greetings:
The "pet" subadult Long-tailed Jaeger continues to put on a show today at Van
Wagner's Beach. It has made two very close passes by the Lakeland Centre in the
last hour and has spent time resting on the water as well. Minutes ago a
juvenile Long-tail passed 50 feet from the beach - almost too close for a scope!
Small groups of up to 6 Sabine's Gulls have been seen and 2 distant Parasitic
jaegers as well.
