Greetings birders had a wonderful day at the Hilliardton marsh bird wetland
research and education center today. Amidst a steady stream of southern v's
of geese overhead and constant well want do we call the call of sandhills
we witnessed a good movement of songbirds be banded. Perhaps of greatest
interest would be the capture of a late yellow warbler and an early white
crowned sparrow. As well we had a good movement of warblers and captured our
first palm Tennessee orange crowned of the fall. We also were excited by
brown creepers and golden crowned kinglets, which we only seem to see in the
fall. For more details please contact me directly or visit timbirds.info
