RE: Franklin's Gull at Port Stanley Sewage Lagoons.

 

I have had a couple of requests for images of the Franklin's Gull. The poor

Based on my limited experience, i believe it is in first basic plumage with a 
dark/charcoal partial hood, black beak, darker grey wings (relative to the 
Herring Gulls anyways). Those eyes really stand out!  Please feel free to 
correct me, as my knowledge of gulls is a work in progress.
