Tonight at Hillman Marsh were several shorebirds including female Wilson's Phalarope, Golden Plover, Ruddy Turnstone, Semipalmated Plover and both Yellowlegs.
Near the pond close to the bird-banding station was a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. At Muddy Creek in Wheatley was an immature Black-crowned Night Heron, some Wood Ducks and Great Egrets. In the harbour were several Forster's Terns. A 1st-year Glaucous Gull sat on the rocks outside the harbour. ***Any birders needing accommodation in the Pelee area should contact Adams Golden Acres Motel in Kingsville (# 1-888-234-6018 ).
