This morning there was a lone Tundra Swan in compamy with Mallards and Can.
Geese at the pond just east of Hwy. 11 on the 11th Line of Bradford-West
Gwillimbury. At the end of the 13th Line of Bradford-West Gwillimbury, the pair
of Bald Eagles could be seen in the heron colony on the east shore of the
Holland River. At least 4 Sandhill Cranes were calling from the marshy banks of
the river and another three were feeding in the field to the south of the 13th
Line. AS well, there were several Tree Swallows hanging about.
Go north on Hwy 400 to Bradford exit, east to centre of town, north on Hwy 11
and then east again to the end of the 13th Line.
