Good morning Fellow Birders:We've had great views of Mr. P already this morning
(8 am). He 'popped up' out of nowhere onto one of his favourite perches. He
perused his territory, looking this way and that for predators, before flying
into the multiflora rose for breakfast. After swallowing hips, all the while
calling and tail-pumping, he nestled into the centre of the bush, resting and
digesting his meal. Today, marks the beginning of his 5th week after being
discovered. We hope that he will continue to thrive. For those of you who have
expressed concern about a daily water source, please know that there is water
readily available, on a daily basis. Our viewing was conducted from the backyard
of # 8 Aberdeen Cr. where sightlines of Mr. P's favourite bushes are
clear.Viewing opportunities are still be offered at #20 Ascot. Once again, a
huge thank you to both Shirley and Sue and families for their generous
hospitality.Good luck and good birding.Dian
