All, A Western Kingbird was spotted this morning and observed from 10:30 to 11:30 am by Andy Eveland and friends.
We saw it again between 12:30 and 1:30 today in the same location. Location: Northwest corner of the Port Burwell Provincial Park trails (Ravine Creek Trail). It was in the east-west Poplar Tree fencerow which is actually on private farm land just outside the park boundary. This requires some walking. It was catching numerous flying insects and returning frequently to the same perch. Good Birding, Joe Stephenson & Andy Eveland Directions to Port Burwell: At the southern terminus of Hwy #19 (Plank Road) on Lake Erie south of Tillsonburg and Ingersoll. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
