Andrew Don and I had similar experiences to those of Stirrat and Adey
yesterday. We saw the White Pelican on our second visit. We believe it had
been sitting onshore just below Eastport and just E of the northernmost island
N of CCIW. It could not be seen until it decided to swim out to the island
At Waterdown Garden Supplies just W of intersection of hwys 5 and 8 on 5, we
saw a Bald Eagle and a Raven but missed the Laughing Gull seen by Kevin earlier
this AM. However, some of the gulls in that field cannot be seen because of the
uneven terrain.
