Had my first of season COMMON LOON yesterday while doing some video in the back yard here. It flew over calling around 10:00 am.
Other migrants in the area here have included EASTERN PHOEBE yesterday in the yard, and GREAT EGRET at Wheatley Harbour on March 24th. Also on March 26th I ventured up to Greenway Road near Grand Bend to photo the Tundra Swans reported by Alf Ryder (a great spectacle see images in my blog below). In addition to the swans I heard my FOS GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and had about 100 LAPLAND LONGSPURS moving north in small groups.
