This afternoon at about 3:00 I found nine Snow Geese in a field along Eagleson Road near Brownlee Road. They were in two small groups fairly close together: one group of four white morph adults, and one group of five - two white adults and three grayish juveniles. Several hundred Canada Geese were also in this field, but the Snow Geese, though well back from Eagleson Road, were fairly easy to spot.

Directions: From Highway 417 take exit 138 (Eagleson Road) and drive south through Kanata. The huge flock of Canada Geese are in a field just south of Brownlee on the right-hand (west) side, but the nine Snow Geese were in the south part of the field, just past a small hill in the field.
