Today I went to the Engineerium building above the Falls along the Niagara River Parkway to look for the Cave Swallow reported. I managed to find 6 Cave Swallows moving between Goat Island and the Engineerium building. Also several thousand Bonaparte's Gulls were feeding above the falls and I was able to find a single adult Little Gull, and a first-winter Iceland Gull. There was also a hybrid Mallard in the water around Dufferin Island. The duck is probably a hybrid between a domestic and a feral Mallard.
