Today,  between  9  &  10  am  on  the east bank of Reesor Pond in the
  herbiage  along  the water's edge - 1 male Sharp-tailed Sparrow : grey
  ear-patch, blackish line drawn back from the eye, very buffy face, the
  upper  breast  of  the same buff color and with light streaking. Light
  streaking also covered the whitish lower breast - bill darkly bluish -
  Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham

  ps - a peregrine flew in and out, both species of Yellowlegs can still
  be  seen  as  well as Wilson's Snipe and Spotted Sandpiper - the first
  Coot  has  shown up and 1 juvenile American Plover plus 2 non-breeding
  Black-bellied  Plovers  were  there  this  am  -  American  Pipits are
  numerous
