With medium-strong NW, becoming W winds and a rising Barometric pressure a
"good" hawk flight was probable. Upwards of 30 observers and visitors came to
help witrh a great count over 6 hours. We were happy to have 4 keen visitors
from Ottawa who had read my CMRW reports and were pleased to drop in for
several hours.
It was quite a day, with many TURKEY VULTURES coming in on various fronts.
Between 1105 and 1315EST 5 BALD EAGLES were observed--2 adults, 2 juveniles and
a 3rd yr. bird.
