Hi All,

The White-faced Ibis that has been at Hillman Marsh all week, was still present this Saturday morning. Jeremy Hatt and I watched it fly in from a southerly direction to the north side of the bridge just before 08:30. It was interesting how it circled around before landing. It then fed very actively.
It was still there when I passed by after 1 p.m.
Point Pelee Tip was very active this morning with gulls and ducks, but no rarities while I was there (!). A Lesser black-backed Gull was amongst the gulls at the Tip. A few Black Scoters were nice to see.

DIRECTIONS: From Leamington:Take Oak Street east out of the town. When you see the entrance for Hillman Marsh just keep going a little further until you see the bridge. The Ibis has been seen from both sides of the bridge.
From 401Tilbury exit south to County Road 1 (Wheatley townline) to Number #3
highway. Turn right onto the number #3 then watch for the Hillman Conservation area signs. Follow Rd. 37 to the marsh entrance.
