Observation time: 8am to 12 noon EST Official Counter: Les Sayer Observers: Doug Lockrey, Jim Skene, Marty Allenson, Ron Stephenson, Rosemary Harris, John Stirrat, Ross Lamb Visitors: 5 Weather: rain up to 0830, then clearing, followed by 1200EST rain that "cleared" us out!!; 15C; mild north wind; TUV=1 Raptor Observations: resident juvenile Merlin kept us alert; 1st yr. Bald Eagle came through low at 1015EST; other migrants very few (see below) Non-raptor Observations:SWAINSON'S THRUSH; MARSH WREN; YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, Am. Pipits in groups of 8,10,10 and 45 (during the last hour); warblers--yellow-rumped, palm, Nashville, Wilson's, magnolia; ruby-crowned kinglet, AND thousands of BLUE JAYS streaming through during the first 3 hours.
