Observation end time: 15:45:00
Total observation time: 8.75 hours

Official Counter: Josh Haas

Observers: Bruce Roberts, Calvin Brennan, Patrick Mulawa, Paul Cypher

Visitors:
Ron and Gloria Harkness

Weather:
Conditions were very similar to yesterday with very little if any cloud
cover and light winds from the north early but quickly switching to the
south-southeast and continuing from there for the remainder of the day.

Raptor Observations:
The flight was somewhat similar as well when compared to yesterday’s but
perhaps somewhat steadier overall and tapering off more quickly in the mid
afternoon. Also, Sharpies dominated the movement overall even more than the
previous day. Still, a very good showing for the second day of the season.
One interesting sighting was a vulture with two white outermost primaries
on its right wing and the outermost on its left wing as well as one or more
white tail feathers.

Non-raptor Observations:
Cedar Waxwings continued to be the most numerous and obvious non-raptor.
Neotrops overall have been rather sparse the last couple of days.
