The first hummingbird of 2007 was reported to Ontario Hummingbirds at the Garden Show held at RBG on the weekend. A Ruby-throated hummingbird was observed in her yard on Wednesday, April 11th. She only observed the green back so could not tell if it was a male or female. Please remember to report hummingbird sightings to www.ontariohummingbirds.ca
The Snowy Owl reported in Bruce region last week was observed again tonight on Bruce County Road 3 about 1 km south of the Saugeen Bluffs. This owl is different than the owl observed multiple times near hwy 21, which was very heavily marked.
