Sunday AM, I saw a dozen Long Tailed Ducks ( Formerly Oldsquaw) still in winter plumage. All were actively displaying and diving and best of all calling .... Loudly... I love to hear their call. They were found in the small bay at the base of Burloak on Lakeshore at the cobble stone beach just opposite Food Basics. I have often seen Mute swans as well in the same area.
