Hi Ontbirders, Today at noon I observed 30 Sandhill Cranes from Smith Road, west of Milton Road. From in front of #612, I first saw 4 birds moving through a small woodlot to the south. The rest were in a depression more to the southwest, such that only heads and backs were visible.

Turn right or ESE onto Russell and drive 3.5 km to Milton Road (Regional 31). Turn left or NNW on Milton and go about 2.0 km to the bridge. Start here." Smith Road (turn left) is about 4 km further up Milton, close to Navan, ON.
