Hello Ont Birds,
Today, Nov. 9th, gull watching at the Trail Rd. Landfill site and
surrounding fields was very good. From Trail Rd., I observed 2 Iceland, 1
Glaucous, 1 immature Thayer's and 3 adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls at the
Trail Rd. Landfill site. Along Brophy Rd. near Moodie Dr. there were 7
Lesser Black-backed Gulls feeding in a field with 200+ Herring Gulls. Along
Barnsdale Rd. and Twin Elm Rd. I observed 200 + Horned Lark, 100+ Snow
Bunting and 40+ Lapland Longspur.
