While driving home this morning I spotted what appeared to be a Mockingbird (flashes of white). Stopping, I noticed a white tail, mottled white back, and a rusty breast. The bird behaved much like the many other Robins on the road searching for worms. It appeared to be an albino Robin.

Directions: Pembroke Dr north of Miller- Upper Middle to 6th Line, 6th Line S. to Miller. West on Miller to Pembroke.
This Google Maps page has the Lat/Long embedded:

I think there was an earlier posting this month about albino robins from another area. If someone could forward that message privately,it would be appreciated.

Birders,
Some good sightings this morning at Thickson Woods were: two EASTERN =
TOWHEES (female);one (or more) HERMIT THRUSHES; a brown creeper; a male =
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER; three yellow-shafted flickers (one right in front =
of the entrance to the woods); on the left side in the marsh, there was =
a male (and I believe a female) blue winged teal, and a gadwall. =20
To get to Thickson's, exit the 401 onto Thickson Rd., south toward =
the lakefront, turning east to park on the road that parallels the north =
edge of the pine woods.
Cheers,=20
Paul,
