The Eurasian Wigeon which was seen last week by Maris Apse is still around
the area. It has moved farther south from the location where Maris reported
seeing it. I saw this bird this afternoon around 2:00pm, at Eidt's Grove on
Saugeen Beach Rd. in front of cottage with Fire #70. It was in the company
of a couple of Goldeneye. The Scaup were still around near the previous
location.

Directions
Travel south on Hwy #21 from Port Elgin, turn right on the 4th Conc. of
Saugeen and travel west towards the lake. At the stop sign at Lake Range
Rd., keep going towards the lake and take the first right, which is Saugeen
Beach Rd. Travel north until you reach the cottage and scan the lake. It was
close to shore just of the edge of the ice and snow.
