This am at Snider Marsh, a pair of Virginia rails probed about in the mud and reeds within fifty feet of the footbridge spanning Robinson Creek - the marsh lies in the Northwest crook formed by Snider Dr and the GO tracks at Bullock Avenue - it has been very productive of southbound migrants these last two weeks with Northern water-thrush, Orange- crowned warbler, Green heron, Wilson's snipe, both yellow- legs, Solitary, Pectoral and Least sandpipers among them - all these and lots more, found central to Markham Village
NB - parking is difficult, but can be found on Water Street, south of Bullock Avenue - emerge on Bullock from behind the Senior Center and cross at the lights cheers - S Long
