Dear Ontbirders: Mark Cranford has approved this message.

Some of you will be frequent visitors to 2 sewage lagoons at the
town of Grimsby, just east of Hamilton on the lakeshore. You may also be
aware of the long term efforts made by Bruce Mackenzie, members of the
Hamilton Naturalist's Club, the Town of Grimsby and the Region of Niagara to
prevent the decommisioning of both these productive ponds. One has been
"saved" but the other, the more productive of the 2, belongs to the Ministry
of National Defence.

Bruce Mackenzie has written the following letter, with a request for your
support at the end. Please take a moment to read it, and e mail the Mayor of
Grimsby with your support of his position.

Thank you very much
Glenda Slessor
