The Buff-breasted Sandpiper is still at the Townsend lagoons. We found it at the middle location, where all the berms from all the cells come together. That was at 4:10 PM. The Wilson's phalarope was in the north-east cell in the south-west corner. Was not able to locate the Red-necked Phalarope on this trip out there. The Trumpeter Swan is still there and so is the leucistic (creamy white) Canada Goose.

Directions to the Townsend lagoons: Turn west from Highway 6 to # 69 (between Hagersville & Jarvis) to Townsend. Turn left (south) on Keith Richardson Parkway. Go to Concession 14 (school bus shack with air conditioner), turn right (west) and go about 750 m. Lagoons are on your right. Must be able to hop/straddle a 3 foot high fence. Scope very helpful. "No trespassing" signs are posted.
