There is a good spot with some mudflats worth checking for shorebirds. It is where the creek crosses Sandy Beach Rd. in Pickering, south of Bayly St. I counted 14 Least Sandpipers, 2 Great Blue Herons, 4 Black-crowned Night Herons, 9 Lesser Yellowlegs, 5 Green-winged Teal, 4 Solitary Sandpipers, and 2 Killdeer.
