Further to previous posting of shorebirds at Trib C earlier today : Least and Semipalmated, Spotted and Pectoral sandpipers, Killdeers, Lesser yellowlegs & 2 Semipalmated plovers were present at Trib C this aft along with 12 Short-billed dowitchers and 11 Stilt sandpipers - the highlight of the afternoon was a professorial dissertation on the distinguishing features of Dowitchers; their species, subspecies, molts and migration habits by Ron Pittaway - thanks
Trib C lies 2 km East of the Ninth Line along Hwy 7 to Reesor Road & South a short distance where it can be easily seen & accessed - Stan Long
