Hello ONTBIRDERS!!!!!


  This  is  a  posting  for  Dean  Ware....who is out in the field as we
  speak...LUCKY!!


  At 12:30 pm today an adult American Avocet was spotted at Big Creek on
  the north side of the bridge.


  Also  of  note  is  the  still  present, long staying White Pelican at
  Holiday Beach, that has been there since June 4th.

This morning a mixed flock of SB Dowitchers and Stilt Sandpipers - 17 in
all - were seen by Stan Long at Trib C. in Markham.  He called moments ago
from the site; they are still there.

Directions:
2 km east of 9th Line along Hwy # 7 to  Reesor Rd.     Trib. C. is a pond
just south of # 7 on Reesor Rd. in Markham.
