This morning (Thursday) my sister Joan and I were very excited to see a male and female Dickcissel together in one of the lower bushes. The male sang from the two dead trees for the half hour we were there except for the few minutes he joined his partner in the bushes!
Directions:QEW to Appleby, north to Dundas , east across Bronte Creek, watch for Tremaine Road coming up. There is a blue attractions sign at the driveway entrance on the south side of Dundas St. Walk in the driveway to where it bends to the east. The dead trees are just south of there.
