10 a.m. One Northern Mockingbird seen on Dogwood trail for visually impaired. Stop at E. White Cedar tree info sign and scan. It was singing softly as if to itself. Trail is on e. side of GM office building.
Jim's Pond had 25 Dunlin, a few semipalmated plover and sandpipers, a Lesser Yellowlegs and a white-rumped. Ducks include N. Shovelers, Blue- and Green-winged Teals, 1 Am. Wigeon Sobey's Pond in Whitby had one Black-bellied plover about 8 a this am. Directions: Exit at Harmony Rd. #419 in Oshawa. Go s. on Farwell St. to stop light and turn e. on Colonel Sam Drive to the GM Bldg. Park on far side of office bldg. Florence Jerome
