The adult breeding plumaged Laughing Gull was seen on the west side of Halls Rd in Whitby at noon today (Sunday) in the plowed field about 0.3 kilometers south of Victoria street in among about 10 RBGUs. Can be easily seen with binoculars about 200m away from the road. Darker grey mantle, red bill and black head.
DIRECTIONS: Halls Rd runs south off Bayly/Victoria Streets in Whitby (just east of Lakeridge Road), exit off Hwy 401 at Brock STREET (Hwy 12) and head south to Victoria St., turn right/west until you see Halls Rd on the left (after seeing Lynde Shores CA). Otto Peter Oshawa [EMAIL PROTECTED]
