A male Kirtland's warbler was found singing on the South Point Trail at 9:30 
this morning just past the beacon on the west side of the trail, it was 
observed to be moving north east.

A yellow billed cuckoo was seen on Bennett road this morning as well.  

A male Prothonotary Warbler was observed singing on Tulip Tree Trail at 
boardwalk E. (numerous times this morning)

Louisiana Waterthrush - Tulip Tree Trail - first large slough on trail 
(observed for two days now)

Dickcissel - heard flying over Tulip Tree Trail - 8:30 this morning

Golden-winged warbler - Spicebush Trail

A Kirtland's Warbler is being seen this morning
near the viewing tower at Ruscom Shores.

Directions: Ruscom Shores is on Lake St. Clair,
between Belle River and Stoney Point.Stay on
county road # 2 [ Tecumseh Rd. ]. Watch for
park sign----it is very close to a railroad crossing.
