I passed along March Valley Rd both around 8:30 this morning and again around 1:00 this afternoon. I saw no Great Gray Owls in the morning but found 1 on my second run. It was near the Duck Club feeder (Riddell end) and across the road. @ crows found it just after I did and tried to harrass it, to no avail. on the first run, there were about 10 Red-winged Blackbirds perched here and there, the first ones I have seen here. On the golf course at the TerryFox end of March Valley Rd there were 5 pairs of Canada Geese, each on their own patch of open grass.

March Valley Rd runs between Terry Fox Rd, off and Riddell Rd. Exit the 417 at the Eagleson Rd Exit and follow north as it becomes March Rd. Terry Fox runs off this. Other access points are Klondike Rd (further on) and Dunrobin Rd (immediately turn right onto Riddell and again on March Valley Rd just past the train tracks.
Cheers, Eve
