Much to my surprise while making my first run down Whistler trail this morning at 9 a.m., a Great Gray Owl flew over my head ... I can't believe I kept my balance ;-) What a great experience! If you ski early, you often see hairy and downy woodpeckers, chickadees and hear red breasted nuthatches when going up the lift. What a nice way to start the day!
The ski hill is located in Kirby - Hwy 115, east 3km on Ganaraska Road.
