Helle Fellow Birders,
I sighted a Northern Shrike west of Bowmanville at noon today.
I sighted 14 Common goldeneyes in the Port of Newcastle Harbor this
afternoon and 4 Bufflehead as well as the 2 Trumpeter Swans who have been
there regularly.
Directions: Take Waverly exit off 401 north to Highway # 2 and turn west as
far as Maple Grove and turn south and look on the west side.
Take 440 exit off 401 on Mill St. S. and drive as far south as the lake and
look to the west of the Parkette in Biond Head.
