Good Morning Nature Lovers,

One hour before sunrise this morning, the waning gibbous Moon was clearly visible close to Jupiter. The duo were separated by only 2 degrees. I tried very hard to get the perfect picture of one of the Great Gray Owls with the Moon and Jupiter in the background.

As I was driving west on Victoria and had just passed through the traffic light on the Seaboard Gate entrance to the new subdivision I sighted a real GGO perched on the second story verandah of one of the new houses. Others will report on the 100's of people and at least 3 GGO's off Halls Rd.

When I was driving south on the Newtonville Side Rd. I sighted a beautiful, frisky, Red Fox on the side of the road taking some high jumps pouncing on the snow but not catching any meal.

I sighted 4 Horned Larks on the corner of Newtonville Side Rd. and Lakeshore.

Directions: Drive along Victoria and turn at Halls Rd.

Drive along Highway 401 to Newtonville Side Rd. as far as Lakeshore Rd.
