The near adult Peregrine first observed over downtown Cornwall on Jan. 14 was back again this morning. It was in hot pursuit of one of the Albanian high flyer pigeons a local pigeon breeder keeps. The Peregrine dived on the bird but as the Peregrine dropped, the pigeon rose. Close but no cigar. Pigeon 1, Peregrine 0. Brian Morin Cornwall
