A short-eared owl was flying over fields at 4:30 p.m. today on South Side of Lakeshore Road, just west of Newtonville Rd.
This is close to the 4440 Lakeshore Rd. location reported in OntBirds yesterday between Port Hope & Newcastle. Most direct route is 401 to Newtonville Road (between Mill St. Newcastle and Port Hope), then south to Lakeshore.
