Yesterday, December 8, I relocated 1 White-rumped Sandpiper in the second cell
at the Harrow SL. There was also a single Dunlin present. This is a new record
late date for the province for this species.

On leaving, we were met by public works employees who told us (very politely)
that we were trespassing and that we shouldn't venture onto the property again
for security reasons. Apparently the No Trespassing signs are destroyed by
vandals as quickly as they are put up.

Jay Peterson & I saw the White-eyed Vireo (thanks, Bob Yukich) and the
Wilson's Warbler in High Park mid-day today. We saw no sign of the
previously reported Black-throated Gray Warbler.
Both birds were close to where previously reported.
The vireo was at the top of the wooden stairs at the south end of Grenadier
Pond and the Wilson's was near the Lower Duck Pond. We first saw the
Wilson's in the reeds at the north end of the pond and it then moved up into
the adjacent pine.
Other birds seen included Golden-crowned Kinglets, Brown Creepers and a
Kestrel.
