Hi all!
What 'eye candy' in the snow!! After searching and pishing my brains out for about 45 mins. around the 'catfish?' pond - nearest to SE corner of the park - I gave up and drove to the parking area just north of Colborne Lodge. I searched and pished for the White-eyed Vireo for about another half-hour and was ready to give up, when I found this bird at 3:00 pm on the east side of the road on the valley slope just north of this small parking area. John Lamey , whom I had previously met at the pond, soon arrived and we had some great views of it. We then both tried to find the Vireo, but I had to leave at 3:45. I'll be back for another try when I can.
                                                  Cheers! Maris

Directions - this part of the park is most easily accessed from Queensway, but you cannot drive north much past this parking area. Both the Bloor Street and High Park Road entries can be used as well.
