At 9:30 this morning Marianne Reid, Len Jones, Karen and I saw both birds in
the same tree! They were located just north of the White Pine picnic area on
the main park road. The thrush was quite skittish, and hard to see, but it
did end up high in a tree later on.

Hard to believe, but another Pacific Loon flew past the Tip of Point
Pelee today. As in the previous two birds, this third individual was
also flying south along the east side and came very close to shore.
There were only 7-8 Common Loons in the area.

This was another adult, but appeared to be in complete basic (winter)
plumage with the exception of extensive darkness still on the throat.

Both the Varied Thrush and Bohemian Waxwing were seen this morning (by
others) just north of White Pine Picnic Area.

Alan Wormington,
Leamington
