With the imm. Cooper's Hawk giving everyone great low vantage viewings the visitors from London, Waterloo, Leamington, Mississaauga, etc. were concerned about the Golden-crowned. Well, at 1105 and 1155 he was seen in the scrub dogwoods just below the platform, just before electing to come up onto the pathway to feed. Other birds incl. an ADULT WHITE-CROWNED, White-throateds, Song and Tree Sparrows, along with House Finches, Juncos and a White-breasted Nuthatch.
Migrating hawks--1 Red-tailed and 1 Rough-legged. Cranberry Marsh is at the south end of Hall's Rd. in southwest Whitby. Doug Lockrey, CMRW
