Hi All,
We dropped in on Humber Bay this afternoon, to scan the ducks. There was a good-sized raft in the sheltered (from the E wind) bay in the NE corner of the park. Mosly these were lesser Scaup, Redheads, Buffleheads, but there were also: a pair of Common Goldeneye, several pairs of American Widgeons, at least 6 pairs of Hooded Mergansers, a few Gadwall, and (at least) one male each of Ring Necked Duck and Ruddy Duck. Off shore to the East were large numbers of Long-tailed ducks and Red-breasted Mergansers. We got no sight of loons (of any flavour) offshore.
