I finally found one of these birds this morning at about 9:30 a.m. my
f.o.y. - it was perched about 7ft. up in a 12/15 foot spruce - one of 3
close to-gether. Take the main path south of turning circle to 2nd. path on
right - the spruce trees are south of this path and pretty close to the
water's edge. I even got some nice video.
As soon as I hit send, I realized that I omitted the directions to Col.Sam
Smith park - take Kipling Ave. south of Lakeshore Rd. and drive as far as
you can to the last parking lot on the left.

We tried to find the Owl this morning at around 9:45,
it did not work out for us.
If anybody manages to re-locate it, please post it on OFO,
or send me a private message.
I really want to see this bird since I have never seen one.
