Visitors: Lots. Weather: Hot and sunny in the morning with clouds moving in solid for the afternoon. Temp to 26 with mainly light NW winds. TUV=4 (Good) Observations: Almost 400 birds counted today of 12 different species. Highlights were 17 Bald Eagles, 7 Ospreys, 2 Merlins and 3 Peregrine Falcons! Still managed to spot 4 Broadwings and 1 Red-shouldered Hawk. Still NO GOLDENs..... 10 Loons heading south. 7 Red-headed Woodpeckers flying by with one that actually landed...awesome!
