Hi Everyone
Today, September 18, 2004 the Whimbrel was still present on the lawn just
south of the parking lot at Remic Rapids. Also, the water level along the
Ottawa River has gone down again and there are mudflats at Andrew Haydon Park
and Shirley's Bay. There were 4 Great Egrets feeding near the base of the dyke
this morning. I noticed an increase in American Pipits today and saw a few Palm
Warblers. There was a small flight of thrushes over my house in Carp between
4:00am and 6:00am Heard about 30+ Swainson's and 3 Gray-cheeked.

                                                            good birding
                                                            Bruce
