Two juvenile and at least 1 adult Red-headed Woodpeckers continue to come to
the suet feeders in my front yard.
Directions: QEW (Niagara) exit Victoria Avenue(Reg.24) South through
Vineland, up the escarpment to SpringCreek Road (there is a natural gas
pumping station at that corner) Turn right, go to the lst stopsign at
Campden Rd. turn right. Park in the 1st driveway on the right and check the
big old, not quite dead tree with the yellow suet bag, from there. Thats
their favorite spot, but there is another suet basket to the right hanging
in the evergreen tree.
