For the OTTAWA FIELD-NATURALISTS' CLUB BIRD STATUS REPORT @ 3:30 PM on Sunday May 16, 2004
This is a rare bird alert. This is Chris Lewis reporting. A singing male BLUE-WINGED WARBLER was seen today at 8:20 AM along Huntmar Rd west of Kanata, near the 2nd hydro pole east from the road by the railroad tracks. The LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH in Gatineau Park was seen and heard singing again this morning between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. The location is the Waterfall Trail (Sentier de la Chute) at the 2nd parking lot to the Mackenzie King estate. It was closest to the intersection of the Waterfall and Larriault trails. The OFNC Bird Status Report will be updated with many more bird reports after the weekend. Thank you - Good birding! Chris Lewis Ottawa [EMAIL PROTECTED]
